What's new with Ammon

For the past week Ammon has been sick.  No fever, no ear infection, nothing other than some GI problems, which lead to a very nasty diaper rash.  We have restricted his diet, taken away dairy, tried every diaper rash remedy under the sun, with no avail...but today after being on some probiotics called Lactinex for a day, he is doing much better.  His doctor thinks he had some sort of stomach virus or it was caused from his teething (he has 2 teeth coming in on the bottom) at any rate, a full week of constant diarrhea was enough to drive both of us crazy.  Last Monday he finally had his one year check up with his pediatrician, but because of he was sick he was unable to get his shots.  We did find out that at 30 inches he is 95th percentile for height and since loosing some weight being sick he is 18 3/4lbs and 3rd percentile for weight.  His pediatrician is concerned about his weight, she says he is very light for a one year old, so we have to go back at the end of the month to get his shots and check his weight again.  Because he is not 20lbs yet, we are still keeping him rear facing in his car seat, hopefully he can get his weight up soon!!  Other than that he is running around being his usual crazy self, getting into everything he can, talking more and more (he now says Dodo for Dodger, Numma Numma for his cub/bottle, Doah for Noah) and even figured out how to push the buttons on the dishwasher now!!

Avery was a whopping 17.5 lbs at her first birthday. I know all about little babies! Hopefully his tummy will feel better soon!
